Attention Benefit Payment Recipients
Beginning with July 2005 benefit payments, the Program discontinued mailing direct deposit confirmations to participants who are paid monthly and receive the same amount each month. This reduction in processing and mailing costs will save approximately $30,000 per year! The Program will continue to mail confirmations to participants who are paid quarterly, semiannually, or annually. The Program will also mail a confirmation in the month of any change to a participant’s ongoing monthly payments. Changes include: payment amount, income tax withholding, and bank account information. Please contact the Service Center if you need more details or to discuss your ability to continue receiving monthly confirmations.
